    For sale is a ticket to the "Herbert Hoover Notification Ceremony." Held on August 11, 1928 at Stanford Stadium (Hoover's Alma Mater), then Secretary of Commerce Hoover formally accepted the Republican Nomination for President of the United States. While he had been nominated earlier in the Summer at the Republican National Convention in Kansas City, Hoover used this as an opportunity to formally accept the nomination before a crowded stadium and a nationally broadcast (radio) audience. I had this ticket authenticated genuine by PCGS Currency and it is graded Choice About New 55.
