    Description

    A nice registered air mail cover sent by Spritzer & Fuhrmann, Jewellers - Dealers in Precious Stones, Curacao and addressed to the Bell & Howell Company, Chicago, Illinois. Franked with a strip of three of Netherlands Antilles Scott #C33A and a #C34, the 12½¢ and 15¢ Plane and Post Horn air mail stamps from 1947. The stamps are tied to the cover by light Willemstad postmarks dated March 12, 1949. On the reverse are a New York, N.Y. Air Mail Field postmark dated March 14, 1949, a Chicago, Ill. Registry Div. postmark dated March 14, 1949 and a Chicago, Ill. North Town Sta. postmark dated March 15, 1949. This cover measuress 165mm x 93mm. See scans for condition - small tear on right front.
