    This listing is for a early 1954 Walt Disney original production cel Donald Duck hanging form a Burro's tail.  Donald is on a Camera Safari to the Grand Canyon and falls off over the edge. 2 cel set-up of Donald on one cel and the Camera on another cel. Both are all hand painted on the cel. Beautiful hand inking so that tells you, that it's in the mid-1950s range, as far as age.
    Grand Canyonscope
    is a Donald Duck animated short released in 1954. It was Disney's second cartoon filmed in CinemaScope (following Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom), and was produced to accompany Disney's first CinemaScope film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. (One joke has J. Audubon Woodlore breaking the fourth wall stating to the tourists, "Uh, spread out, folks, this is CinemaScope.")

    Art Corner Cel
    which is a Preferred cel to collect in the area of Original Production Art. Cel size is 8 x 6.5 inches, the painted character is 3x2.5 inches in size.  Strong colorful HAND-INKED paint lines are in great shape. Paint is in perfect condition.  This Set-up is complete with the Art Corner Gold Label on the back.

    Cels sold at Disneyland's Art Corner Shop in Tomorrowland from the mid 1950's to the late 1960's. These cels are trimmed, placed in a small matt against either a lithograph background or a sheet of colored paper. A gold seal is attached to the back of the matt which is the authenticating sticker.
    Piece is known as a ART CORNER piece that was originally Sold at Disneyland in The Art Corner Store on Main Street USA.
