Description

An antique Chinese export silver incense burner of archaistic ding form, the rectangular-sectioned body brightly enamelled and embellished with semi-precious gems with meandering scrolling leaves and flowers, enamelled with blue blossom flowers encircled red coral beads, the rim surmounted by a pair of upright arched-form handles,
all raised on four high splayed legs, jade finial on the lid.
Qing Dynasty period, ca. 1900, China.
Dimensions: Height: 5 3/4 in (14.6 cm) Width: 5 1/8 in (13 cm).
Weight: 542 grams.
Hallmarked with Chinese characters.
