Tiny folk art depiction of a Day of the Dead skeleton in the form of a bride at her dressing table.  The scene includes an old-time telephone and a bottle of something on the table and a sweet little cat on the floor.
The structure is painted wood and the figures are made of painted clay.
The originality of the Day of the Dead artists of Mexico cannot be overstated!  They work with tiny scraps of nothing to create witty yet personal little scenes like this.
