    2001 Holy Herd Club Renewal Kit HH39999 featuring Winged Polar Bears.
    The late artist/sculptor, Pete Apsit, created a line of resin animal figurines for Character Collectibles called Holy Herd. All the occupants of Noah's Ark were represented. Unfortunately, Mr. Apsit died in 1999 and Character Collectibles stopped producing the figures (and marketing them through sales reps) in 2002. These items are NEW IN BOX. Never displayed, only removed from box for visual inspection. Outer box has minor shelfwear.
    In this listing, you are offered the 2001 Holy Herd Collectors Club Renewal Kit that was available to members only. Included are Patience and Preston winged polar bears and a Noah pin & watch. (I have no idea if the watch still works.) Polar bears were Mr. Apsit's favorite animal so Character Collectibles created these with beautiful white wings to show the love and constant watch over all by Mr. Apsit. I think it is a very touching tribute.
    Also included are now defunct club materials. A booklet outlines all the available Holy Herd animals.
