    Description

Up for sale here is this incredibly unique Indian War Era Tintype of a US Calvary Soldier aiming his Colt 1892 Double Action Revolver at a younger man preparing to swing what appears to be a wooden table leg at him.  The soldier is in full dress with his Standard Issue Stetson, Gauntlet Gloves, and Riding Boots.  The Colt Revolver is Nickel Plated and is in the full cocked position.  The plate measures approximately 3" X 2.25" and the image remains bright and clear.  The surface of the plate is less than perfect as the glass insert is missing from the 1/2 frame that remains.  No doubt a one of a kind piece in well preserved condition.  I will be listing a handful of tintypes from my collection so please free free to check out my other auctions.  Thank you.
