    Description

    Metropolitan Museum Art Heart Shaped salt glazed stoneware Dish, Staffordshire 8" English ca.-1740-60 Replica. Refined white bodied salt glaze stoneware, tea & Tableware, made in the Staffordshire region of England between 1750-80. These dishes graced many a colonial home from New Hampshire to the South Country. Good for chocolates, nuts, small candy. Maker's mark can be seen in photo 4. A brief can be read on photo 5.
    This Stoneware copy was produced with a lead free glaze and can be safely used to serve food. The Dish is oven-proof(350 Degrees), should not be used in a microwave oven. Made in the 1990's most likely in England.
