    I bought this because it set me on edge, then it creeped me out too much. Very cool artwork still.
    I don’t know much about the piece, sadly the artist part away in 2010.
    Miriam C. Rice (January 13, 1918 – August 30, 2010) was an American artist known for developing a palette of natural dyes extracted from mushrooms and other fungi.

    Miriam was introduced to batik, a technique of wax-resist dyeing of cloth, by a friend from Sweden, Ebba Evers.
