STRONG JUNIOR HI INTENSITY CARBON ARC PROJECTOR LAMPHOUSE 1930's CINEMA THEATER

$ 105.6

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Condition: Please review the photos carefully. I am unable to test this item. The cranks that position the carbon rods both work. The glass lens you will see in photo 6 was loose inside the assembly. It says on the rim of the lens: "MADE IN ENGLAND. 6D WIDE ANGLE." There are a couple chips on the edge of that lens. There is a jury rigged on-off switch on a brown cord. You can see that in photo 8. I'm not sure why that is there. Perhaps the original switch no longer works, but that is only speculation on my part.

    Description

    This is a fine old relic of a vanished age! This carbon arc projector lamphouse was a common item, at one time, but is much less so today. It is for sale as is, as shown. I have not tested it.
    Note that the last photo is an example of a full theater projectionist's setup using this lamphouse with a film projector. That photo is for illustration, only. I do not have the projector for sale; I only have the lamphouse.
    Please view the photos carefully, along with the condition description. Please contact me with questions or concerns. I will answer as best I can.
    I have listed this item for local pickup only, as packing it for shipping will be a bit of work, but I can work with buyers who are out of my area, to get it packed and shipped. It weighs 53 pounds.
