Amudarya river area. Silver. Central Asia ( olam ) culture.
Antique pair cuff traditional silver beautiful bracelet for wedding. A pair of antique silver bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Ersari tribe.
An impressively engraved, heavy, broad plain silver Ersari / Olam Turkoman Cuff.
With a central heavily detailed reinforced, raised band, and boldly engraved abstract scrolled patterns against a punched background.
These are both complemented and reinforced with embossed stamped “sun” or “flower” discs.
The silver has acquired a dark patina.
Two solid points decide the width of the entrance opening (30 mm.) so if you can carefully wriggle through that gap, you’re in.
Basically it’s too strong to be adjustable so DON’T Damage it, by trying to adjust it!
