Picture 1 features the CYNARA flower, handwritten in green on the picture. This flower is the one in the center that has a green section at the bottom and a purple bloom at the top.
Picture 2 features the PROTEA flower, also handwritten in green on the picture. This flower was featured in my daughter's wedding bouquet!!! 😀 This flower is the pink one with closed petals and a dark center.
Each picture has two mats. The one surrounding the inner picture is green and matches the leaves in the pictures. The top mat is an off-white! All of the mats are made out of handmade paper, beyond gorgeous.
The shadow box frames are very sturdy and heavy for a small frame. Each frame has a sawtooth hanger attached at the top and a hard backing that will protect the picture.
Each slightly distressed shadow box has a depth or profile of 1 and 1/4 in.
I can't find anything like these on the internet especially colored hand paper art. I think they are definitely vintage and quite a rare pair!!! These were made to be cherished and appreciated!!!
Glass will be taped, each picture will be bubble wrapped, and mailed with a larger box to protect these, packed in tight and mailed with insurance!!!
